- Yongtae Lee (Prof. Chae’s research team) published a paper on Capacitance-to-Digital Converter in IEEE JSSC
- Prof. Chae’s paper, “A 0.5ms 47.5nJ Resistor-to-Digital Converter for Resistive BTEX sensor Achieving 0.1-to-5 ppb Resolution”, has been published in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), one of the most highly-ranked journals in ‘Integrated Circuits Design’ field (Impact Factor 6.12). This research paper is an innovative research result that made it possible to measure up to a BTEX concentration of 5 ppb thanks to a MEMS sensor and a highly efficient sensor interface circuit. This work was led by Yongtae Lee (Ph.D. Candidate) as the first author and Prof. Youngcheol Chae as the corresponding author.

- Prof. Sohn’s Team Published the Paper of Stereo Confidence Estimation on IEEE TPAMI
- The paper, “Stereo Confidence Estimation via Locally Adaptive Fusion and Knowledge Distillation” has been accepted to IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI, IF=24.314, JCR within top 0.4%, 2021). This work has been conducted by Prof. Sunok Kim (first author) of Korea Aerospace University while she was a post-doc researcher in Digital Image Media Lab (Prof. Kwanghoon Sohn (corresponding author)) of the Dept. of EE Engineering at Yonsei University, and this result is a joint-work with Prof. Pascal Frossard of EPFL, Swiss.

- Dong Hyun Choi (Prof. Kim’s research team) won the KIDS Awards Bronze (Sponsored by LG Display) at the IMID 2022
- In August, Dong Hyun Choi (Ph. D. candidate) from the research team of Prof. Hyun Jae Kim won the KIDS Awards Bronze (Sponsored by LG Display) at the 22nd International Meeting on Information Display (IMID 2022) for the best oral presentation. Dong Hyun Choi presented a study titled "Biocompatible Silibinin Based Biodegradable Neuromorphic Device for Implantable Medical Electronics" which is expected to greatly contribute to leading biocompatible memory device technology that mimics the human brain.

- In August, Won Kyung Min (Ph.D. Candidate) from the research team of Prof. Hyun Jae Kim won the Gold Prize at the Young Leaders Conference (YLC) of the 22nd International Meeting on Information Display (IMID 2022) for training of innovative young scientists. The Gold Prize was awarded to the researcher for devising a novel technologythat introduces a hidden-pixel structure to address the problem of resolution deterioration, which is considered a critical limitation of existing stretchable displays.

- Prof. Hyun Jae Kim’s Research Team Published a Paper on ‘IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices’
- Prof. Hyun Jae Kim's research team proposed a compensation pixel circuit based on a dual-gate oxide thin film transistor capable of selective synchronization and developed a technology that enables more accurate and faster threshold voltage change detection and compensation while improving device mobility. The result was published in IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices (IF=3.221), an authoritative academic journal in the field of semiconductor devices. This paper was conducted in collaboration with LG Display, led by Prof. Kim (corresponding author) and Jin Her (the first author, M.S. candidate).
