Prof. Jong-Moon Chung received the Minister's Award of Excellence from the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), Republic of Korea on Dec. 26, 2023. Prof. Chung received this award based on his successful XR Flagship Project which combined advanced XR (eXtended Reality), AI (Artificial Intelligence), and Digital Twin technologies. This system was developed to enable realistic XR training for the National Fire Agency, Korea Fire Safety Institute, and the Ministry of Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea.
