Myeongki Cho (first author) and Professor Ki Jun Yu (corresponding author), have successfully developed a fully bioresorbable hybrid opto-electronic neural implant system for simultaneous electrophysiological recording and optogenetic stimulation. This fully biodegradable system offers monitoring neural activities with therapy for intractable neurological disorders. This result was published in Nature Communications (IF 16.6, H5 index: 349 ), an international academic and the top authority in multidisciplinary engineering.
