Prof. Jongyoo Kim has joined Yonsei EE as an Associate Professor in Mar. 2024.

His research area covers multimedia signal processing, 2D/3D computer vision, graphics, and AI.

After obtaining a BS, MS, and Ph.D. from Yonsei Univ., he joined the Computer Vision group at Microsoft Research Asia. He contributed to various projects, including Azure Cognitive Service and Microsoft Designer, while researching various vision and graphics-related topics.

Prof. Kim has published more than 30 papers in SCI journals and international conferences and is a reviewer for IEEE TIP, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, ICASSP, CVPR, and ECCV.

He is teaching the Digital Signal Processing (EEE4420-03) in the first semester of 2024.
