Prof Han’s research team (Broadband Communication Networks Laboratory) reported a novel modulation method to improve optical receiver sensitivity by 3dB in satellite optical communication utilizing the characteristics of saturated EDFA and half-bit MZDI. This work has been published in IEEE Journal of Lightwave Technology on January 31, 2024
