Prof. Kyeon Hur and Ph. D. Candidate Min-seung Ko’s paper, titled “Locating the Source of Oscillation with Two-Tier Dynamic Mode Decomposition Integrating Early-Stage Energy,” has been accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Power Systems (IF: 7.326 Top 9% in Engineering, Electrical & Electronic category of JCI).

This research proposed a two-tier structure with the improved dynamic mode decomposition for the oscillation detection and source location. Mr. Wooyoung Shin at KERI and Mr. Kai Sun, the professor at University of Tennessee, joined this research.
