Prof. Kyeon Hur awarded a commendation by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) for his excellent R&D achievements in the area of power system modeling, analysis and control at the BIXPO 2022, Nov. 2, 2022.  Prof. Hur was honored for his technical contribution to the electric power industry and leadership in innovating the tools for evaluating the dynamic performance of power electronic interfaced renewable-rich power grid and DC transmission technologies.
