Prof. Seong-Ook Jung’s low power HBM I/O technique was accepted in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), the most renowned journal in circuit and system field.
The proposed time-interleaved duobinary encoding scheme effectively improves energy efficiency in High-bandwidth Memory(HBM) I/O, which has a power consumption issue due to the use of multiple I/Os.
This research was made by Ph.D. candidate Ji-Young Kim and professor Seong-Ook Jung of VLSI system laboratory.
