In September 2021, Jin Hyeok Lee (in SK Hynix’s Future Technology Research Institute), a Ph.D. graduate from Hyun Jae Kim’s Lab, developed a biocompatible and biodegradable neuromorphic device, and the related paper was accepted for publication in Advanced Functional Materials (6th in PHYSICS, APPLIED Area, IF 18.808, JCR 4.69%).
By proposing ‘Resistive Random Access Memory (ReRAM)’ based on ‘hyaluronic acid’, a flexible and bio-friendly material, this research team demonstrated the devices' applicability for future wearable healthcare electronic devices.
