On February 2021, PhD student Byung Ha Kang from Prof. Hyun Jae Kim's research team was rewarded a “Participation Award” from Samsung Electronics 27th Humantech Paper Award 2020 for the research paper titled “Skin-Attachable Polymer/Oxide Hybrid Phototransistors for Always-On Cardiovascular Monitoring” in Physical Devices & Processes section.
This study has great significance in that the novel electronic device with the concept of preventing cardiovascular disease through real-time/continuous bio-signal detection in keeping with the healthcare 4.0 era.
