Professor Won Woo Ro was awarded the 1st ‘IEIE Research Pioneer Award’ sponsored by the Haedong Science and Culture Foundation.
Professor Ro has contributed greatly to the advances in parallel processors, especially CPU and GPU, and has consistently presented papers at major international conferences such as ISCA, Micro, and HPCA. In recognition of the contribution, he received the award from IEIE on November 27th.
