On November 2020, PhD student Won Kyung Min from Prof. Hyun Jae Kim's research team was rewarded a ‘Silver Award’ from Samsung Display Paper Award 2020 for the research paper titled 'Switching Enhancement via a Phase-controlling Layer for p-Type Copper Oxide Thin-film Transistors’.
Additionally, the team was rewarded a ‘Special Award’ for submitting the most number of research papers. In particular, this special award is of great significance in that it proves the result of excellent industry-academic cooperation with Samsung Display Co. Ltd. for about 10 years under the guidance of Prof. Hyun-Hyun Kim, the head of the Yonsei-Samsung Display Research Center.
