- Prof. Taeyoon Lee’s research team developed a bismuth telluride(Bi2Te3) based stretchable thermoelectric fabric. The results were published as front cover paper in the June issue of Advanced Functional Materials (IF = 19.924, JCR rank = 4.66%). This study was led by Chaebeen Kwon (first author) and supervised under Prof. Taeyoon Lee (Corresponding author).

This work has been accepted to International Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA, Acceptance Rate: 21%), a top-tier conference in Computer Architecture. - Ju Young Lee, Jongwoon Shin, Kyubeen Kim, Jeong Eun Ju (First author) and Professor Ki Jun Yu (Corresponding author), have successfully developed ultrathin crystalline silicon nano and micro membranes with high areal density for low-cost flexible electronics and manufactured solar cell and transistor arrays for demonstrating the applicability of this technique to various flexible electronic devices. The research was published in Small (IF 15.153), a leading international academic journal in the field of applied physics.

- Mingyu Sang, Myeongki Cho, Selin Lim, In Sik Min (first author) and Professor Ki Jun Yu (corresponding author), have successfully developed a wireless continuous glucose monitoring system based on a highly sensitive, biodegradable microneedle array sensor and applied a smartphone application to accurately track glucose concentrations in real-time without causing any skin wounds. - Korea Grid Forming Co., Ltd. (CEO: Kang Ji-seong), a start-up company of Professor Kyeon Hur's research team (Smart Grid Lab), has been selected for the ‘Super-Gap Startup 1000+ Project' of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Korea Grid Forming will receive up to KRW 600 million in commercialization funds and KRW 500 million R&D funds depending on corporate demand over 3 years. They will also receive support for linked policy funds, guarantees, and exports.

- Collaborative research accomplishment on emerging challenges in modeling and analyzing the electric power system due to the widespread growth of variable renewable energy (VRE), in the form of distributed energy resources (DERs) will be featured in a special issue on “The Evolution of Smart Grids” of Proceedings of the IEEE (IF: 14.91). Prof. Hur, a director of Smart Grid Lab, has led this collaborative efforts along with his former students (now, industry leaders and a professor).
