Prof. Kang’s research team’s (DSP & AI Lab) paper, “LAMA-UT: Language Agnostic Multilingual ASR through Orthography Unification and Language-Specific Transliteration” has been accepted for publication in The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), one of the most highly-ranked conferences in Artificial Intelligence domain.

This work, which enabled the efficient automatic speech recognition for 120+ languages with single neural network, was led by Sangmin Lee (M.S 2nd) as the first author, Woojin Chung (M.S/Ph.D 6th) as a second author, under the supervision of Prof. Hong-Goo Kang as the corresponding author.
