세미나 제목 : Weakly Supervised Structure Discovery in Images and Videos

This talk will put the problem of visual recognition in a historical context, giving a brief  (and undoubtedly biased) account of research in that area in the past 50 years. I will then focus on recent work in my group that addresses the problem of understanding the visual content of images and videos using weak forms of supervision, such as the fact that multiple images contain instances of the same objects, or the textual information available in television or film scripts. I will conclude with a brief discussion of our recent work on fully unsupervised object discovery in photographs and videos.
