세미나 제목 : New Challenges on Semiconductor Design Technology

발표초록 : Now we are facing the 4^th industrial revolution, the major areas of which are Artificial Intelligence. Internet of Things, Autonomous Robots, Big data & Cloud computing, etc. In order to keep pace with this trend, semiconductor design technology needs a new evolution to resolve newly faced challenges especially such as neural network chip implementation, extreme low voltage operation, and process variation tolerant design. In this seminar, these challenges and related research activities will be addressed according to the following agenda.

1.     Neural network and neural network chip implementation.

2.     Near threshold computing(NTC): benefit and issues, research for resolving NTC barriers

3.     Variability aware design: source of timing variations, resolving methods
