세미나 제목 : Tractable SIR and Rate Analysis in a Large-Scale Network

발표초록 : Stochastic geometry is a powerful mathematical tool that captures interference dynamics in large-scale wireless networks. In the first part of this talk, we review the key basics of the tool, and thereby specify its pros and cons, i.e. analytical tractability vs. practical accuracy. In the second part of this talk, we additionally propose three tractability maximizing techniques based on Markov property, mapping theorem, and a hypergeometric function transform. These enable signal-to-interfernece (SIR) and rate calculation by inspection in the forthcoming 5G applications including ultra-dense networks, millimeter-wave systems, and ultra-reliable communications.
