 Localisation is one of the key enablers to provide guidance in both indoor and outdoor environments. The location of a device has been traditionally estimated through the use of GPS. However, GPS is not available indoors and sometimes its accuracy outdoors is not enough due to signal blockage. As a consequence, the identification of a device location can not rely only on GPS estimations, but a different technology must be used to provide a reliable and real time localisation.

 Nowadays, WiFi access points are available almost everywhere in our cities. The growth of WiFi access points has made possible to consider WiFi technology as a support to GPS even for outdoor localisation.

 The objective of this conference is to introduce different techniques for WiFi-based indoor and outdoor localisation.
