세미나 제목 : Utilizing Depth Information for Emerging 3D related applications

Rapid progress has been made in the 3D field during recent years. We have witnessed the birth of low-cost consumer 3D scanning devices such as Microsoft Kinect sensor and Time-of-Flight (TOF) cameras, which have boosted many new applications and attracted the attention of researchers in different research disciplines, including computer vision, human computer interaction, and virtual reality. The more easily available depth information (from RGB-D camera, stereo video, or laser scanner) makes many 3D imaging related applications practical. In this talk, we will discuss our work on utilizing depth information for emerging 3D imaging related applications, including activity recognition for healthcare, 3D object modeling, gaze estimation, and semantic segmentation.
