세미나 제목 : Oscillator Phase Noise in Full-Duplex and Centimeter-Wave Communications: Analysis and Mitigation

In commercial transceiver, the effect of phase noise has traditionally been tackled by using good performance oscillators in transceivers. However, when combining the very high order modulations and higher frequency communications, good enough oscillators cannot be built in reasonable size, and with reasonable costs and power consumption. Also, the so-called in-band full duplex technology is very sensitive to phase noise. I will present selected parts of my past and ongoing research on these topics. Even though the presentation will be a bit technical on some parts, I will keep it at elementary level when possible.
