이명재 교수 연구팀 (차세대 반도체 소자 및 시스템 연구실)의 엄도윤 학생 (박사 2학기), 육세영 학생 (통합 3학기)이 2024 IEEE Seoul Section Student Paper Contest의 Semiconductor Devices and Processing 분과에서  각각 “Enhancement of Back-Illuminated Single-Photon Avalanche Diodes With an Optimized Diffraction Pattern”, “Doping-Optimized Single-Photon Avalanche Diode for Positron Emission Tomography Application”를 주제로 발표하였고 은상, 동상을 수상하였다.
