Team Yonsei (Professor Youngcheol Chae, Jong-Hyun Ahn and Hon-Goo Kang) got a research funding from The Alchemist program of The Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) about the “Brain to X project for speechless communication”. The total amount of funding is about 21.5 billion won, and 4.7 billion won will be used for Team Yonsei's work.
The project is developing innovative technologies that enable control, communication and recognition of brain signals based on a closed-loop neural interface that can control external devices or communicate with others just by thinking.
