전기전자공학부에서는 대학원생의 영어 논문 작성과 발표능력을 향상 시키기 위하여 'Technical Writing'을 신규 개설합니다.

[강의 소개]

This class is intended to help Korean scientists and researchers draft written materials and compose presentations in English. These skills should be applicable to most English language tasks in academic and professional contexts. Learners will consider a well-regarded writing textbook as well as notable examples of technical writing to support their writing skill development. Each class will include a writing task, demonstrated initially by the instructor, followed by individual completion of the writing task, then followed by peer review of each learner's written output.  On a weekly basis, learners will also receive detailed analytical information concerning the complexity, accuracy, and fluency of their writing that week. In this way, the class will work as a team to help every learner develop their writing skills, and receive as much feedback as possible on their writing, to support every learner's writing skill development. It is important to communicate Korean scientific and research material in global contexts, and this class should support higher-quality communication of that material in the future.
