Starting from 1st semester of 2019, Yonsei graduate school of engineering and AI research team(Professor Sangyoun Lee, head of the AI research team) are establishing department of Artificial Intelligence (Master’s program) for the first time of the country. The team is currently conducting research on emotion recognition dialogues agent as interdisciplinary and the corresponding department will be established in cooperation with the department of Korean language, psychology and journalism, public relations and advertising to solve ethical and data issues besides electrical engineering and computer science.

From expanding AI education as a necessary base technology for humanities society, researchers on various area are expected to benefit from the establishment of department of artificial intelligence.
