Prof. Daesik Hong and Information and Telecomm. Lab (ITL) developed a subband filtering with different filter orders to improve the time and frequency efficiency in Filter Bank Multi-carrier (FBMC) system. Hyejin Kim, a Ph.D. student in ITL, presented the research results at the session Wireless Communications II of IEEE Global Communications Conference (Globecom) held in Singapore in Dec. 2017. IEEE Globecom is a worldwide academic conference in the field of communications and is held in every Dec.. In 2017, a total 1019 papers were published in 198 sessions.

Prof. Daesik Hong (corresponding author) and Ph.D. student Hyejin Kim (the first author) led the study, and Ph.D. Yosub Park and Wonsuk Chung participated in the study.
