발표 초록 :

Smart materials or active materials exhibit useful coupling between multiple physical domains, offering excellent engineering solutions to many real world problems. The smart materials include rheological fluids, shape memory alloys (SMA), piezoelectric, ionic polymers, etc. This presentation offers a brief overview of the fundamental properties and concepts behind several types of smart materials. With a focus on MR materials, it also presents innovative engineering applications of smart materials.
