Immersive social interactions of mobile users are soon to be enabled within a virtual space, using virtual reality (VR) technologies and cellular systems. In this VR mobile social network, all interacting user states should be updated synchronously with low latency guarantee. Therefore, the individual latencies of all users are constrained by the user experiencing the worst latency. To cope with this worst latency problem, we propose a spectrum allocation algorithm, designed and numerically validated by exploiting a novel end-to-end latency model for a VR mobile social network.
