최현용 교수 연구팀에서 학부 졸업연구로 진행된 주제에 대한 논문이 국제 저널 Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics 에 게재되었다. 본 연구는 당시 학부생이었던 통합과정 이제관, 조승완 학생의 주도로 진행되었으며, 최현용 교수의 연구실에 함께 진학하여 국제적인 학술지에 논문을 게재하는 성과를 내었다. 해당 연구는 최근 각광받고 있는 2차원 물질 샘플의 현미경 이미지에 기반하여 기본적인 컴퓨터 프로그램을 응용해 자동으로 적층 두께를 산출해내는 방법을 기술하고 있다.

An undergraduate thesis of Prof. Choi’s group has published on Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics. This research has proceeded by former undergraduate student Jekwan Lee and Seungwan Cho, who are now graduate student of Prof. Choi’s group. The journal is published after further study during the graduate course at Prof. Choi’s group. The research is about optical microscope-based fast and efficient layer counting algorithm for two-dimensional materials.
