이태윤  교수 연구팀은 미세 액체를 조작할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하여  피, 혈장, 눈물, 소변 등의 체액 한 방울 만으로 체내에 존재하는 여러 가지 생체 지표를 검출함으로써 다양한 질병을 진단 할 수 있는 기술을 개발 하였다.  본 연구는  상위 3.27%의 나노과학 분야의 권위있는 학술지인  ‘ACS NANO’ (IF:13.942) 에 게재 승인(Accepted) 되었다.
본 연구는 연세대학교 이태윤 교수, 한국과학기술연구원(KIST) 서정목 박사 (이상공동교신저자) 와 박사과정 한희탁 학생 (제1저자)의 주도 하에 한국연구재단 이공 분야 중점연구소지원사업 및 나노소재기술개발사업의 지원을 받아 수행되었다.

Professor Taeyoon Lee's research team developed  a system that can manipulate micro/nano-scale volume of droplets. By using this system, various biological markers present in the human body can be detected with only single drop of body fluid such as blood, plasma, tears, and urine. This study was accepted by ACS NANO (IF: 13.942), a prestigious journal in the field of nanoscience with 3.27%.
